One-Cycle Control, Inc., a Delaware corporation, was founded in August 2004 with the primary objective to productize and commercialize One-Cycle Control technology.
In February 2005, OCC Inc. executed an exclusive license agreement with the University of California (and the California Institute of Technology) to commercialize OCC technology for all fields of use and markets where it can be commercialized. The intellectual property portfolio continues to grow.
In June 2006, OCC Inc. opened the doors of its first facility in Irvine, CA and hired initial
employees to execute the first government and private contracts. In April 2008, OCC relocated to a larger
facility to facilitate execution of an increasing number of contracts and the hiring of more employees.
The 12 Mauchly site also facilitates larger-scale power converter development and commissioning due to
increased power infrastructure.
During this time, the OCC technology and OCC team have attracted the attention of several
government agencies including the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Energy (DOE), and the California
Energy Commission (CEC), to develop and demonstrate advanced power converters based on OCC technology.
Private
entities have also engaged under contract with OCC, Inc. to develop and deliver breakthrough power
conversion for end-user markets in: utility/industrial scale power, alternative energy, and advanced
transportation.
The OCC team is proud to be the chosen power electronics team for our customers; we deliver
leading-edge power electronics capability and leverage our multi-disciplinary team to assess and recommend system-level simplification through a system-level approach to power.
